I found this small hotel at Booking.com with price of RM153 per night. Located at Lorong Bangkok near Pulau Tikus, George Town, Penang.

My room, Superior Suite has:

* Private bathroom with a bath tub (my favourite part)

* Safe box

* Mini-fridge

* 2 queen beds

* TV with some Astro channels

* Stools

* 2 air conditioners + a standing fan

* WiFi

* Toiletries

You can find some beauty salon and some local food stalls/restaurants nearby.

At their guest lounge also has water filter, oven, coffee + tea etc. They also have a deluxe room come with jacuzzi bath, maybe priced higher than my room.

This place is located about 15 min drive from Tanjung Bungah beach (20 min if you're going to Batu Ferringhi) and about 3 min drive from Gurney Paragon.

The night view is quite amazing

Tanjung Bungah beach is just 15 min drive (10 min if you're fast enough)

This historical lane also brings some nostalgic value if you're a fan of it. If you are finding a place to relax and unwind, with some nostalgic value, I'd say this is the place for you. Because it is located near a main road, do expect some noise especially at night time.
